Since 2017, she also runs a design studio at the University of East London. EN/ Materia Prima is a critical research project conceived by Erika Loana and Gabriela Sisniega, Mexican architects who have worked together since 2011.  Materia Prima started from the relationship between the intensive extraction of subsoil matter and the collateral destruction of the territory resulting in what we call architecture.
